About the Mercy Initiative
The Mercy Initiative actively partners with native churches and ministries to relieve the burden of hunger and hopelessness in some of the most impoverished villages in India. It is estimated that one-third of the world’s poor live in this region.
We believe that focused intervention in poverty-stricken villages can make a huge difference in people’s lives. In fact, compassionate intervention may be the difference between life and death for many people. To that end, we strive to provide food, clean drinking water, educational assistance and timely medical care for people who have no other opportunities.
